上文中的breath alcohol test就是“酒精呼氣測(cè)試”，通過向breath alcohol detector(呼氣式酒精檢測(cè)儀)呼氣來測(cè)試駕駛員飲入的酒精量。在拘捕該駕車男子后，警方還對(duì)其進(jìn)行了blood test(血液檢測(cè))，結(jié)果證實(shí)該男子確實(shí)飲酒過量。

這名男子是drunk driving(醉酒駕車)入刑法后太原第一位以身試法的人。警方?jīng)]收了該名男子已經(jīng)過期的driver's license(駕照)，并將對(duì)其處以1個(gè)月以上6個(gè)月以下的detention(拘役)。
